Sports : VPRD Taking Applications for Adult Softball League

The Vinton Parks & Recreation Department is now taking registrations for adult softball league. If you or if you know of someone that is wanting to get a team together for the summer league, please be sure to turn in your registration form by Friday, April 24th. Registration forms can be found at the Vinton Recreation Center or online at vprdzone.com. There is a $30 deposit at the time of registration and league fees will be determined at the Captain's Meeting on Wednesday, April 29th. League fees are dependent upon desired length of season and the number of teams that have registered. The men's league captain's meeting will begin at 6:00 PM at the Vinton Recreation Center and the women's league captains will meet immediately after at 6:30 PM.
