MVP: Ty Stueck, with Dewey and Justine Ockenfels, was the winter pool league MVP.
The Automatic Amusement Sunday's winter pool league wrap up was held on Sunday March 8th at The Ozone Bar and Grill in Urbana. The league consisted of 10 teams made up of 3 individual shooters on each team. The teams played each other every Sunday for the past 19 weeks. Play consisted of each team individual playing 3 games per week by playing each member of the other team. Then each week team results and individual results were captured and standings updated. Tyler Stueck received the MVP award for having the highest individual points out of 30 shooters. He scored 527 points versus the second place of 520 points. His team that was made up of Tom Stueck and Rick Bramow, also captured 2nd place in the team standings. Tyler's competition consisted of all adults with most having years of experience playing in other leagues and competition. This allowed him to learn, be mentored, and sharpen his skills. Tyler picked up and started to compete in area tournaments in this (sport/hobby) over the last couple years. Tyler would like to thank all the players for the time and knowledge they continue to give him and a special thanks to owner/operator of The Ozone, Dewey and Justine Ockenfels for letting him participate.
