When the 2015 State Wrestling Meet begins later this week, two Viking wrestlers will be in Des Moines, hoping for a shot at a state title
Max Wehage (126) and Micheal Neal (152) both finished in second place at the District event on Saturday at Aplington-Parkersburg High School.
Vikings Nick Hyland and Steve Henry came within one victory of earning a state berth; both finished third. Dylan Wagner finished fourth at the district event.
The state meet begins on Wednesday; the Vikings are scheduled to wrestle Thursday afternoon.
Other area qualifiers from the A-P District include wrestlers from Union and Center Point-Urbana.

Dylan Beaver of Benton Community (132) earned a spot with a second-place finish at the district event in Solon.
