The Vinton-Shellsburg High School basketball teams are both in action tonight, as the Vikings host Dyersville Beckman in their season opener.
The Vikettes travel to Beckman tonight then host West Delaware, which is led by former Vikette Coach Harold Shepherd, on Friday.
Junior Maci Griffith led the Vikettes in their season opener last week, scoring 19 in the 57-50 loss to Anamosa last week. Abby Gloede scored 11 and senior Brea Burroughs snagged 10 rebounds.
