Sports : CPU 7th grader Katcher sets Washburn meet record

Adrianna Katcher, a Center Point-Urbana Middle School student from Urbana, set a new meet record earlier this month at the Washburn Classic Cross Country Meet in Ames. She ran an all-time fastest time in meet history among middle school girls (7th and 8th grade); a time of 11:43 for 2 miles. She is the only middle school girl in meet history to finish the course in less than 12 minutes.
