Sports : Cross Country: Haisman wins MS race, two Horsts 2nd at Engler Classic in CF

Nolan Haisman continues winning; the 8th grader won the middle school race Tuesday in Cedar Falls.

Lily Horst was second among 104 runners in the Rich Engel Cross Country Classic in Cedar Falls on Tuesday evening.

Eighth-grader Nolan Haisman was first among 117 middle school boys, leading VSMS to a second place finish. Grace Horst finished second in the girls Middle School race to lead the VSMS girls to a 3rd-place finish in team standings. The VSHS varsity girls finished 6th in team standings.

Senior Derek Dinderman finished in 22nd to lead the varsity boys.
