One of the surprises I have discovered living in the rural areas of northern Benton County are the wild raspberries that grow each June.  I do not have the same green thumb my grandfather and father had.

As a blind or visually impaired Iowan, I am bothered by the actions taken in the past decades to reduce the quality of education being offered to the blind and visually impaired children of this state.

Is the education of Iowa's visually impaired no longer important?
