Today marks the 90th Anniversary of the 19th Amendment, the amendment that allows women to vote. The whole idea that women had to prove they had enough brains to vote, seems pretty lame.

Sometimes it’s hard to take sides on an issue because many of the people most loudly involved are so terribly wrong. The proposed Islamic Cultural Center near Ground Zero – dubbed the 9/11 Mosque – is such an issue.

Halfway There

Well, we are halfway there. 3 of our kids are officially on their own now and we still have 3 at home. Yesterday while driving the latest graduate off to college, I realized that everything was changing, and as a mom, I didn't like it! I told myself, "I should be used to it.
