Mildred Mae Kisling, 91, of Vinton, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2026, at the Vinton Lutheran Home.

Mildred was born on May 31, 1935, in rural Vinton, the daughter of Clark and Maxine (Lindsay) Long. She spent her life devoted to caring for others, both professionally and personally. On May 9, 1954, Mildred married Frederick “Fred” Russell Kisling in Benton County, Iowa. They shared many years together before Fred’s passing in 1988.
