Obituaries : Robert (Bob) Wayne Hupfeld

Robert (Bob) Wayne Hupfeld, 86, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 24, 2024.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00am Thursday, March 28, 2024, at the Keystone Cemetery.

Bob was born on July 4, 1937, in Keystone to Fred and Flossie (Heitman) Hupfeld and attended Belle Plaine High School. He served his county in the United States Army.

Bob worked as a machinist at Amana Refrigeration until his retirement in 1997.

He enjoyed camping, fishing, and playing cards with friends.

He is survived by his sons, Mark (Janie) Hupfeld, of Belle Plaine and Gerry (Amanda), of Mount Vernon; two grandchildren, Alexa and Emma Hupfeld; and his special friend Mary Van Hamme of Belle Plaine.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Duane Hupfeld, Dorothy Hupfeld, Mardean Hollopeter, Mary Ann Hupfeld, Carolyn Ann Hupfeld and Fred Hupfeld Jr.
