Obituaries : Jeromy D. Marth

Jeromy D. Marth, 38, of Polo, Illinois, died Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017, at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center in Rockford. Jeromy was born Aug. 10, 1979, in Dixon, the son of Daniel Marth and Pamela (Grobe) Mohr. Survivors include his mother, Pam (Steve) Mohr of Polo; father, Dan Marth of Polo; longtime girlfriend, Rebecca Hanson of Polo; sisters, Michelle (Jerimiah) Johnson of Polo and Ashley Zimmerman of Iowa; brothers, Justin (Sasha) Mohr of Vinton, Iowa, and Chad Mohr of Michigan; Rebecca's daughters, Lacy and Aaliyah Johnson; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Helmer and Barb Swenson; maternal grandparents, Donald Grobe and Jackie (Jim) Slifer. At Jeromy's request, cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of life will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Jan. 6 at Polo Senior Center.
