Vinton—Rosie Neve, 78, died peacefully Monday, June 20, 2016 at Windsor Manor in Vinton following a lengthy illness. 

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, June 23 at the Vinton Presbyterian Church with Rev. Jessica Crane-Munoz officiating.  Visitation will also be at the church from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and for an hour before services on Thursday.  Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.

Rose Marie was born September 27, 1937 in Vinton to A. Kenneth and D. Irene Young Warner.  She grew up in Vinton and graduated from Vinton High School.  On January 26, 1955 she married Wayne Neve at the Little Brown Church in Nashua.  Rosie was a nanny to many children over the years.  She also did house cleaning for several people.  She was a long time member of the Presbyterian Church.  She enjoyed shopping, traveling, jewelry and word search puzzles but her greatest joys were her children and grandchildren.  

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Wayne; sons, Doug (Becky) Neve, Chatfield, MN, Ken (Deseire) Neve, Englewood, CO; daughter, Cindy (Doug) Haefner, Grundy Center, IA; brother, Charles Warner, CA; daughter-in-law, Beth Griffin, Carrollton, TX; six grandchildren, Brian (Michelle) Neve, Dallas, TX, Kristen (Christian) Klein, Minneapolis, MN, Drew (Heather) Haefner, Davenport, IA, Travis and Dylan Neve, Englewood, CO, Casey Neve, Carrollton, TX and great grandson, Miles Neve, Dallas, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Denny.

A memorial fund has been established.
