Virginia Squier, 91, of Vinton passed away January 21, 2016, at the Vinton Lutheran home. According to Virginia's wishes, there will be no funeral service or visitation. Graveside services will be scheduled at a later date.
Virginia was born June 29, 1924, to Frank & Inez Cottrell near Brandon. On June 27, 1951, she was united in marriage to Floyd Squier. He preceded her in death on June 10, 2010. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Dortha Halva.
Virginia is survived by one sister, Rosemary (Les) Kampman of Vinton; one niece, Jacki (Jerry) Michael of Urbana, one nephew, Steve (Janis) Kampman of Rockwell, Texas; five great-nieces and nephews and three great-great nephews.
