Colleen Becker passed away peacefully on Friday, June 14 at Colonial Manor in Amana surrounded by family after a full and active life.The funeral service will be held at St. John XXIII Catholic Church Fairfax on Thursday, June 20 at 10:30 a.m. The family will greet family and friends from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19tin the parish center or 1 hour before the service. Bret Michael McElwain, age 34, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2024 in Los Angeles, California.Bret was born July 9, 1989 in Kingman, Arizona. He was named by his sister Robyn after the lead singer of the band Poison, Bret Michaels. Bret use to love his music when he was little. As a toddler, he would jump up and down saying "it's the bop bop" when his songs came on. Gary D.Williams

Richard Joseph Nanneman, 80, of South Pasadena, CA, passed away Monday, May 27th, 2024.He was born October 10th, 1943 in Chariton County, MO to George Edward and Maxine Catherine (Poss) Nanneman. He married Karen Kay (Bednar) Bergen Nanneman on May 22nd, 1981 in Vinton, IA and she preceded him in death on March 14th, 2017.Richard worked at Hawk-Bilt in Vinton before moving to Naples, FL in 1982. Robert (Bob) Charles Waterman, age 82, of Wheaton, IL, formerly of Atkins, quietly went to see our Lord Jesus on November 25, 2023.Memorial visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM, on Monday, July 8, 2024 at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Atkins. Charles Eugene Hawley, 59 passed away on June 11, 2024 at his home. Visitation will be held at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel in Vinton from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM, on Monday June 17, 2024. Donna Jean Burchell went home to be with her Lord and Savior on November 19, 2023, at the age of 95. Donna died peacefully in Diamond Bar, California. She spent the last four years of her life in California, but her heart was always in Minnesota.Donna was born on November 22, 1927 to Elmer and Cora Woltersdorf in Van Horne, Iowa. She was the youngest of three children.
