VINTON: Emma G. Redlinger, 14, died February 28, 2015 at University of Iowa Children's Hospital in Iowa City.

Mary Louise Lint of Houston, Texas, went to be with our Lord and Savior, Monday February 23rd, at Southeast Memorial hospital, she was 86 years old.
She was born May 20, 1928, in Massena, Iowa, the daughter of the late Addie Dill and Lucius Wells and adopted daughter of the late Rowena Lavina and Harold Hays Higdon. She was married December 14, 1946 to the late Charles E. Clarence D. Hilner
VINTON - Clarence Daniel Hilner, 88, of Geneseo, Illinois, formerly of Vinton, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015, at Good Samaritan Village in Geneseo. Per his request, cremation rites have been accorded.

VINTON: Vanessa D. Lipscomb, 62 of Vinton died February 25, 2015 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics following a sudden illness. A gathering of family and friends will be from 3 – 5 PM, Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Phillips Family Center, 605 Second Avenue in Vinton. In accordance with her wishes, Vanessa was cremated. VINTON – Mary J. Williams, 72, died Wednesday, February 25, 2015, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids following a brief battle with cancer.
Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday, February 28, 2015, at Blessed Hope Church with Rev. Matt Hantz officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, February 27, at Van Steenhuyse-Russell Funeral Home in Vinton and one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.
