Wayne Lee Davis, 71, died Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Hospice of Mercy in Hiawatha.Honoring Wayne’s wishes, services will be private.Wayne was born February 28, 1948 in Cedar Rapids, the son of Jack and Mary Mounts Davis. Former Vinton teacher, Doris Lunde, 91, of Traer, died December 31, 2019, of natural causes. She was born July 12, 1928, in Quarry, Iowa, daughter of Jerome and Mamie (Haskell) Lunde. Doris graduated from high school in Marshalltown, and UNI (formerly Iowa State Teachers College) in 1948. Traer was her home while she taught for 31 years in several Iowa schools and after retirement. Wilbur Clarence Kleckner
Wilbur Clarence Kleckner, 91 of Elma, Iowa, formerly of Riceville, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Colonial Manor. Wilbur was born August 21, 1928 in Riceville, to Henry Clarence and Opal Merle (Torney) Kleckner and was raised on the family farm.
