News : Linda Radcliffe Memorial donates $1,000+ to Palace digital campaign and ACT 1

On Tuesday, June 22, Marcy Horst, manager of the Palace Theatre and member of ACT I, accepted over $1,000 in donations for both organizations from Angie Mullenix in memory of her mother, Linda Radcliffe.

Linda, long time Palace volunteer and a founding member of ACT I, recently passed away. Several community members, including her DLB friends, Mozelle Davis, Alan and Janet Woodhouse, Dorothy Woodhouse, and her father and stepmother, Burt and Geri Davis, requested that their memorial contributions go to those sister organizations in Linda's name.

Donations to the Palace Theatre will be used for the digital upgrade. The ACT I Board of Directors will determine a fitting tribute to Linda at a later date. Linda was an active ACT I board member for many, many years and Palace volunteer for ten years. Linda is best known at the theatre for requesting her popcorn HER WAY! She is greatly missed by all at the Palace Theatre.
