Serving Buffet from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday through
Friday. A choice of salads is available on the buffet.
Everyone is WELCOME! Suggested contribution for
individuals 60 years old or older, and their spouse
(regardless of age) is $2.75 for the meal. Individuals
who are not yet 60 are WELCOME but need to pay $3.75 for
their meal. Carryout meals are available. We deliver
meals to Vinton, Newhall, Urbana, and Garrison/Mt Auburn.
The suggested contribution is $3.00/meal if you are 60 or
older. We also have nutritious frozen meals and liquid
supplements. Delivery is throughout Benton County.

The meal on Sunday, June 27th, will be Roast Pork, Mashed
Potatoes/Gravy, Spinach, Peaches, Custard, WW Bread, Milk.
On Monday, May 3rd, there were three tables of Pepper
Cards played. Milo Cobb won 1st place with 253 points.
Ron Dawson took 2nd place with 242 points. Fern Lewis
won 3rd place with 226 points. HACAP furnished beverages,
Ron Dawson brought treats and other refreshments were
provided by the card club.
On Tuesday, May 4th, we welcomed Bernice Beatty from
Atkins as our guest. We also recognized Helen McClain’s
birthday. The activity of the day was Surprise Bingo with
the games being handpicked by Jacquie Winkler. The caller
was Evelyn Greenwood. Game one was a baseball and Bernice
Beatty won a meal ticket. Jacquie Winkler won an
auto-mate organizer on game two, which was Wacky Number 3
Bingos. Game three was a 9-pack and Greta Geiken won a
bracelet. Game four was 2 hardways and Elsie Knaack won a
purse. Faye Goodell won home aromatherapy on game five
with blackout.
On Wednesday, May 5th, the activity of the day was 10-Cent
Bingo. The games were handpicked by Jeanette Blazicek and
Tammy Rine was the volunteer caller. Game 1 was a 9 pack
and won by Clarion Isabell and Jeanette Blazicek. Game
two was a frame the free spot and 4 corners with Greta
Geiken winning. Game three was a diamond with Faye
Goodell winning. A flag was game four with Jeanette
Blazicek winning. Greta Geiken won game five on a
blackout.
On Thursday, May 6th, we welcomed Pearl Timiter and Ron
and Marita Lowel as our guests. The activity was 10-Cent
Bingo. The Bingo games of the day were handpicked by Fern
Lewis. Game one was a Wild 2 – 3 Bingos and was won by
Delane Kalina. Game two was a 9 pack with JoAnn Roster
winning. Game three was a frame card with Dora Vogt
winning. Game four was frame the free spot 4 corners with
Delane Kalina winning. Bingo ended with Blackout and
JoAnn Roster winning.
On Friday, May 7th, there were 7 tables of 500 played.
Burdell Staab won 1st place with 4,020 points. Bill
Milne won 2nd place with 3,930 points. Marlys Finzen won
3rd place with 2,820 points. HACAP furnished beverages
and other refreshments were provided by Marge Smith and
the card club.
On Monday, May 10th, there were 3 tables of Pepper Cards
played. Milo Cobb won 1st place with 296 points. Dora
Vogt won 2nd place with 290 points. Bill Milne won 3rd
place with 250 points. After the games, refreshments were
provided by Bill Milne and the card club. Beverages were
provided by HACAP.
On Tuesday, May 11th, we celebrated all the May birthdays.
There were 20 guests and 9 birthdays celebrated. Those
celebrating birthdays were Joan Hyde, George Caslavka,
Bill Sellers, Marion Moser, Mary Crisman, Mary Walker,
Helen McLain, Walt Gille, and Mae Wilhelmi. Walter Gille
won the gift certificate. Special thanks to Norma Ellis
for all of her hard work as the hostess of the birthday
party. Her efforts are greatly appreciated. Stuart
Gulick provided the afternoon entertainment.
On Wednesday, May 12th, the activity of the day was
10-Cent Bingo. The caller was Jean Warner and the games
were handpicked by Faye Goodell. Game one was a layer
cake with Fern Lewis winning. Game two was a 9 pack with
Marion Isabell winning. Game three was stair steps with
Faye Goodell winning. Game four was letter N with Jacquie
Winkler winning. Marion Isabell won Blackout on game
five.
On Thursday, May 13th, the activity was 10-Cent Bingo with
the games being handpicked by Delane Kalina. The bingo
caller was Vickie Holst. Game one was a plus sign with
Jeanette Blazicek winning. Game two was a 9 pack with
Ruth Wieditz winning. Game three was stair steps and won
by Ruth Wieditz. Game four was make a baseball and Ruth
Wieditz was the winner. Game five was blackout with JoAnn
Roster winning.
On Friday, May 14th, there were 6 tables of 500 played.
Greta Geiken won 1st place with 3,710 points. Geri
Shaffer won 2nd place with 3,080 points. Ron Dawson and
Joy Baker tied for 3rd place with 2,930 points.
Refreshments were provided by Bill Milne and the Card
Club and HACAP furnished beverages.
