Forms are removed after concrete for the foundation is set at LEC building site.

The work on the foundation of the new Benton County Law Enforcement Center (LEC) is "almost going too well," according to project coordinator Jerry Petermeier.

Petermeier, in his familiar blue hard hat, was inspecting the work earlier this week when he said that all of the necessary materials have arrived for the work on the foundation. He also said the general contractor was doing a very good job of organizing the work.

Within two weeks, concrete block work should begin on the foundation area, said Petermeier.
