News : VS Homecoming next week; King and Queen voting begins tomorrow

Below is the schedule for Vinton-Shellsburg High School Homecoming Activities for 2012

THURSDAY: (Sept. 13)

· During advisor the Seniors will vote on the top ten.

MONDAY:

· Super Hero/Villain Day

· Announce Top Ten during the pep assembly

· Seniors will paint window after the assembly

TUESDAY:

· Senior Citizen/Ninja Day

· Seniors Vote on Top 5 during Advisor

WEDNESDAY:

· Opposite/Nerd Day

· Announce Top Five during pep assembly

· Seniors will paint (whitewash) school driveways at 7:30 PM (more information for seniors coming later)

THURSDAY:

· PJ/Toga (Seniors only) Day

· Vote on King and Queen (9-12) during advisor

· Parade – Line up on B Avenue between 4th and 6th at 5:30. Parade starts at 6:00. Parade route – 4th Street to 2nd Ave., 2nd Avenue to 21st Str. and on to the football field

· Community wide pep assembly @ 7:00 pm @ the football field!

o Pep Assembly with skits

o Introduce King and Queen candidates and their parents.

o Crowning of King and Queen

o Powder Puff football game will follow with Seniors vs. Juniors

FRIDAY:

· Spirit Day (Black and Gold)

· Pep Assembly (Short) – 2:55

SATURDAY:

· Dance 8:00 – 11:00

Please note that whenever there is an election I have to have the ballots back to me that day!!!!
