Legion Auxiliary members served the brats during fund-raiser for Honor Flight program.

Jim Merchant cooked brats provided by Merchant's grilling, Frito Lay offered chips and Anderson-Erickson, lemonade. Fareway offered a part of its parking lot, as well as  brats, bun, chips and their generous help in setting up....a huge thanks to all of them!

All of this as a tribute to "The Greatest Generation."

Together they helped raise a total of  $1568.74, money for the North Central Iowa Honor Flight program, which pays to send World War II veterans to Washington, D.C. to see the WWII Memorial.

World War II and Korea veteran Le Laton was also there, showing visitors his scrapbook from his Honor Flight. One of the Legion Auxiliary members who helped serve the meal was Deb Rundlett, who will be going on a future Honor Flight as a caretaker for a veteran.
