News : Benton County Sheriff's Report: June 2012 arrests and citations

Benton County Sheriff Randall Forsyth reports that deputies answered 326 calls for service and investigated 15 accidents. Deputies attempted to serve 198 civil papers and issued 52 traffic citations and 109 traffic warnings.

There were 42 arrests/juvenile referrals with 58 charges being filed in June 2012.

(34) were simple misdemeanors, (21) were indictable misdemeanors, and (3) were felony charges.

Charges included: Assault – 6; Warrants served –13; Discharging Firearm – 1; Disorderly Conduct – 1; Harassment – 2; Obstruction of Emergency Communications – 1; OWI –5; Possession of Alcohol Under Age –10; Drug Related -8; Driving While Suspended / Revoked –2; Public Intoxication – 3; Supplying Alcohol to Persons Under Age -1; Trespass – 3; Theft – 1; Unlawful Use of ID – 1.
