New to Vinton, twins Madeline and Jack Blais already have a favorite place to visit in town: The Friends of the Shelter location across the street from the Vinton Palace Theatre. The 4-year-old twins had been thinking of setting up a lemonade stand. On Thursday, they decided to do so and to donate their profits to help those animals.

With the help of their mom, they set up a stand at the Depot during the weekly Farmer's Market. The twins help the money will help find homes for the cats and dogs, as well as food, toys and other necessities.
