At the regular meeting of the Vinton City Council on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at 7:00 PM at the Vinton City Hall, 110 West 3rd Street, the City of Vinton will be taking open bids for the property located at 814 B Avenue.
The successful bidder will choose to either demolish the house or bring it up to current city building code. The deadlines are October 1, 2012 for demolition, or November 1, 2012 to have exterior rehabilitation done on the structure.
The interior of the house will be made accessible for potential bidders on July 10, 2012 at 10:00 AM. A list of required exterior items to be accomplished by November 1, 2012 will be provided on July 10, 2012 and at the time of the bidding. Minimum bid is set at $5,000.
