Serving Buffet from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday through
Friday. A choice of salads is available on the buffet.
Everyone is WELCOME! Suggested contribution for
individuals 60 years old or older, and their spouse
(regardless of age) is $2.75 for the meal. Individuals
who are not yet 60 are WELCOME but need to pay $3.75 for
their meal. Carryout meals are available. We deliver
meals to Vinton, Newhall, Urbana, and Garrison/Mt Auburn.
The suggested contribution is $3.00/meal if you are 60 or
older. We also have nutritious frozen meals and liquid
supplements. Delivery is throughout Benton County.

The meal on Sunday, May 23rd, will be Roast Beef, Mashed
Potatoes/Gravy, Broccoli/Cheese Sauce, Mixed Green Salad,
Peach Crisp, WW Bread, Milk.
On Monday, April 5th, there were three tables of Pepper
Cards played. Burdell Staab won 1st place with 238
points. Merle Roths took 2nd place with 224 points. Milo
Cobb won 3rd place with 212 points. HACAP furnished
beverages and other refreshments were provided by the card
club.
On Tuesday, April 6th, the activity of the day was
Surprise Bingo. Norma Ellis won home aromatherapy on game
one. Fern Lewis won candy on game two. JoAnn Roster won
a free meal on game three. Marge Goodell won a ring on
game four. Greta Geiken won earrings on game five.
On Wednesday, April 7th, the activity was 10-Cent Bingo
and the games were handpicked by Elsie Knaack. A
telephone line was chosen for game one and won by Zella
Alpers. Game two was a 9 pack and was won by Zella
Alpers. Game three was a frame the free spot and was won
by Zella Alpers and Norma Ellis. Game four was a baseball
with Elsie Knaack winning that one. Game five was
Blackout and won by Fern Lewis.
On Thursday, April 8th, the activity was 10-Cent Bingo.
The Bingo games of the day were handpicked by Clete
Friedman. Game one was a flag and was won by LaVonne
Branbowen. Game two was stairsteps with Virginia Schnepf
winning. Game three was a baseball with Greta Geiken and
Faye Goodell winning. Game four was a layer cake with
Greta Geiken and Jacquie Winkler winning. Bingo ended
with Blackout and JoAnn Roster and Greta Geiken winning.
On Friday, April 9th, there were 7 tables of 500 played.
Geri Shaffer won 1st place with 3,570 points. Marlys
Finzen won 2nd place with 3,450 points. Evelyn Greenwood
won 3rd place with 2,820 points. HACAP furnished
beverages and other refreshments were provided by card
club.
On Monday, April 12th, there were Pepper Cards were
played.
On Tuesday, April 13th, we celebrated the April birthdays.
Those celebrating were Martha Cohrt, Shona Frese, Margery
Smith, Dorothy Lutz, Shirley Doud, Donna Fleming, Larry
Holst, Donna Lough, and Phyliss Ebert. Donna Fleming was
the gift certificate winner. There were 16 additional
guests. Stuart Gulick provided the afternoon
entertainment.
On Wednesday, April 14th, the activity of the day was
10-Cent Bingo. The caller was Tammy Rine and the games
were handpicked by Faye Goodell. Game one was stairsteps
with Mae Wilhelmi winning. Game two was a 9 pack with
Elsie Knaack winning. Four corners and frame the free
spot was game three with Faye Goodell and Greta Geiken
winning. Game four was a flag with Mae Wilhelmi winning.
Elsie Knaack and Jean Warner won Blackout on game five.
On Thursday, April 15th, we welcomed the Newhall Golden
Girls as our guests. The activity was 10-Cent Bingo with
the games being handpicked by Ruth Wieditz. The games
were called by Vickie Holst. Game one was the letter W
with Faye Goodell winning. Game two was a 9 pack with
Jeanette Blazicek winning. Game three was a wild number
and won by Elsie Knaack winning. Game four was a
champagne glass and JoAnn Roster was the winner. Game
five was blackout with Faye Goodell winning.
On Friday, April 16th, there were 6 tables of 500 played.
Marge Smith won 1st place with 4,670 points. Wilma
Loutsch won 2nd place with 3,920 points. Pauline Schminke
won 3rd place with 3,560 points. Refreshments were
provided by Card Club and HACAP furnished beverages.
