The leaders of Garrison's efforts to build a new library to replace the on destroyed in the July 11, 2011 storm, is short and simple:

"The Garrison Library Board's vision is to construct a new, modest, functional building. We hope to achieve this goal through private donations, public funding, grants and fund-raisers."

That sentence is part of a new web site dedicated to the Garrison library. According to that web site, a total of $20,000 has been raised, with more donations expected. The Flea Market also continues from 9 a.m. to noon every Saturday in April and May, in the Garrison Methodist Church basement, along with other fund-raisers.

See the Garrison Web Site HERE to learn more about the project, and how you can help.
