The Vinton Garden Club member of the National Garden Clubs, Inc., Central Region, Federated Garden Clubs of Iowa, Inc. and District II met on Feb. 29 in the home of Cam Wood.
The program was “How do you Conserve Water” by Gary Garwood from the Vinton Water Department.
After the program President Fran Stueck called the meeting to order. The pledge of Allegiance and Conservation Pledge was recited by five members who were in attendances. Roll call was answered by how do you conserve water?
The Secretary minutes were not read due to the absentness of the secretary.
Treasurer’s Report was given by Fran
There were no currant bills to be paid.
No questions on Treasurer report so it was filed for audit.

Information on District II meeting April 27 in Independence Iowa.
Garden Therapy at Cedar Valley Ranch on Wed. April 11 at 9:00 a.m.
A sympathy card was signed for Phyliss Borleske
Connie McClintock was elected treasurer.
Fran reported the America Corp will be at Tilford this week and they will cut back and clean off the flowerbeds plus do Schrebrings garden. Cam, Fran and Ted Stueck showed them what to do and Ted hauled the debris away.
The next meeting will be March 28, 2012 at Anne Dake home.
Fran adjourned the meeting.
