News : Viking 13/Under team plans fund-raiser; looks forward to another great season

The Vinton 13U team plans a hot dog fund-raiser this Saturday.

The Vinton Viking 13U Black baseball team will be hosting a hotdog feed wtih a free will offering from 10-2 on Sat march 31 in the Fareway parking lot. The proceeds will help cover the cost of tournament fees for the coming year.
Coached by Bryan Edwards, Andy Smith and Chris Bendull, this heam has been highly successful through its years. They started at the age of 8 and they have progressed to the point of being in 3A class of USSSA organization. Last year they were Division Champs against some very good teams including the CR Red and Perfect game major teams. They had a 31-14 season record.
