The US Bancorp Foundation recently made a $2,500 contribution to the Garrison Emergency Services Relief Fund. The fund was created by the U.S Bank following the July 11 windstorm disaster that leveled the Garrison Emergency Services Building. All donations to the fund are being used by the Garrison Fire Department and First Responders in their rebuilding effort. “It’s wonderful to know we have such benefactors as the US Bank in our community who are willing to help us in our time of need,” said Garrison Fire Chief Steve Meyer. The US Bancorp Foundation also made a $2,500 contribution to the Benton County Disaster Recovery Coalition to assist with disaster recovery county-wide.
