Vinton area residents who were looking forward to returning to Pizza Hut after the storm-caused two-month absence have encountered a couple of inconveniences as the restaurant works to return to its full pre-storm service.
Employee Judy Herring told Vinton Today that while the restaurant is open, the online ordering service is not yet functional. Some customers placed orders via the Internet but the orders did not reach the restaurant, causing a longer wait. The business is working with their provider to set up the service.
Also, spaghetti and beer products are not yet available. Herring said the restaurant should be getting those items within the week. To place orders via phone, call 472-5283.
