The Vinton Parks and Recreation Department will be starting the Medallion Hunt, once again for the 20th Anniversary Party in the Park.  The Medallion Hunt will begin June 3, 2011 and end June 22, 2011.   Keep in mind the two guys that are hiding the medallions are a little strange at times and stretch things quite a bit and their first names are Jeff & Nathan.  So keep that in mind while searching for these treasures throughout the community for twenty days.

Rules for the Medallion Hunt:
1. One gold medallion will be hidden each day leading up to the Party in the Park. (The first hunt will begin June 3rd at 5:55 AM)
2. The medallion will be hidden within Vinton City Limits.
3. Once found-take the medallion to the Recreation Center to get your prize and to register for the grand prize.
4. The location of the medallion will be related to that year’s Party in the Park
theme or grand marshal or the entertainment.
5. Limit 2 medallions per family.
