News : It was just a dumpster fire

A dumpster fire began behind Vinton Family Dentistry on Sunday afternoon. The fire was large enough to send black plumes of smoke into the air to alert area residents. The fire was easily extinguished by the Vinton Fire Department.

It's guessed that it might have been started by a tossed cigarette or construction materials. While waiting for the fire trucks, a resident kept it in check with a garden hose until the department arrived.
