Vinton Unlimited is proud to present to the town a set of new brochures that promote some of the highlights of Vinton.

Included in the new set of brochures is the Harvest of Walls. This is a walking tour of the historical murals throughout the downtown area. Each of the 10 murals is included in the brochure along with a short history of the painting.

The corn statues around Vinton is another of the brochures. The 19 corn statues are included alongside the name of the artists, sponsors, and contributors as well as the locations of each statue.

The third brochure is about the largest glow trail in the United States, Nathan's Miles. The brochure shows a map of the trail with a history of its origination. It also lists other area attractions.

"When life gives you splinters...make art" is the final in the set. This features all of the 14 carvings by Brian Parr which was a result of the 2011 derecho that went through Vinton. The flyer gives the addresses of all of the locations where the carvings can be seen.

The brochures can be found at the following locations:

John's Qwik Stop

Henkle Creek

Ehlinger's

Vinton Public Library

Cobblestone Inn and Suites

The brochures were made possible through the Hotel Occupancy Tax (HOT) grant.
