News : The Church of Grace in Shellsburg offers Alternatives for Congregation

A message from Pastor Reeves;

As you all are aware our Nation is under a great deal of stress in these unprecedented times. I urge each one to remember 2nd Timothy 1:7- God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. I encourage you to exercise your faith. Be in prayer, Bible reading and keep a song in your heart. Many are living in fear of the virus and the effects it is having on their families. You have an opportunity to be a clear voice of faith and common sense. The ministry is wide open for you.

The Deacons and I met today to discuss what we should do in response to all that is going on. We have put a plan in place. These decisions were EXTREMELY difficult. We tried to consider each view and option. We feel we have come to the best answer for The Church of Grace. 1. The Church of Grace will be closed for all services and meetings beginning today until further notice. Our goal is to hold an Easter service. 2. Pastor Reeves will hold office hours for anyone wanted to see him WEDNESDAY'S 9 AM- Noon. Please call him with any concerns, needs or requests. 3. Pastor will have a sermon each week. It will be on our Facebook page The video cannot at this time, be put on our website we are looking into why it won't post. 4. A Bible Lesson will be available for the children through email.
