News : Lions Club presents check to V/S Booster Club

Vinton-Shellsburg Viking/Vikette Athletic Boosters and the Vinton Lions Club A Winning Team

The Lions Club recently presented the V/S Booster Club with a check for $2000 dollars, money generated from the Lions food trailer sales at this fall's football games. For the past eight years the Lions Club has presented the Booster Club with a check which the Boosters use to provide equipment, supplies, uniforms etc. for the V/S athletic program. The Boosters, through their hard work and dedication have provided needed items for the athletes in our schools for many years. The Lions want to thank those who patronize our trailer so we are able to help the Booster Club support our student-athletes.
