An event which started in early 1990 in Burleson, Texas still happens today.Vinton Shellsburg High School Students gathered at the flag pole to pray for friends, family  the school and those in leadership.

Before classes began a group of students gathered at the flag pole in front of the high school to share a time of fellowship, food, singing which was followed by the reason for the event.

A short time of prayer followed as the students prayed together asking for safety this week events happening at the school and being thankful for the opportunity to share this time together.
