Children learned about the weather on Saturday while at the Benton County Nature Center. The staff entertained the children with a book about weather and had several hands on activities for the children to participate in.

Keeping with the weather theme, the children made rain sticks to take home with them for their craft and participated in an activity making clouds.

The group also talked about clouds, rain, thunderstorms, and lava lamps.

Be sure to watch the Benton County Conservations Facebook page for other events offered for children, it really one of the hidden gems if you have children and need another activity for them! Their next activity is set for August 10, where they will hold a nature inspired art workshop for adults and children alike!
