News : Party in the Park fun begins Thursday Evening

Tomorrow evening the annual Party in the Park event will kick off at 5:00 p.m. with the Farmers Savings Bank & Trust community picnic in the bank parking lot. The Farmers Market will be downtown this week on 1st Ave. next to the courthouse.

Dad and Mom, don't forget the Kiddie Parade at 6:30 p.m. Dress up your bike, stroller, wagon like characters from days gone by. Anyone up to 5th grade are invited to participate. Line up at Farmers Bank & Trust.

The party will move to the Courthouse Lawn and other activities happening will include:

Face painting

Balloon Creations

Carnival Games

Prizes

Inflatables

6:30 p.m. Tyler Sean Entertainment Vinton's resident deejay, will be bringing a mix of today's hits and classic music for all ages. Be the Change will be there to bring the dance moves as well.

There will be a racing simulator with high definition graphics, surround sound, wind and smoke machines that will make you feel like you're on the race track!

7:00 p.m. will bring magician Tim Stolba for a family friendly magic show. He's one of the Midwest's leading comedy magicians.

Bring the kids tomorrow for a great time of fun in downtown Vinton.
