The 2019 Sesquicentennial Committee is partnering with the Benton County Historical Society to gather information on the last 150 years of Vinton’s history!

Open House
Where: 2019 Headquarters
303 1st Ave (Governor Sherman bldg.)
What: Photos and/or stories on the following topics:
* Vinton businesses
* Baseball in Vinton
* Benton County Fair
* Sweet Corn Days
* Passenger train service to Vinton
Information gathered may be used in a new Historical Society publication, used as reference material for the Walldogs in creation of a new mural or other celebration related activities.
We will have a scanner set up so you will be able to take your originals home with you that evening.
