News : Benton County sees first new-style Iowa license plate

Although the Benton County Treasurer's Office has not yet received any shipments of the new style of state license plates, Treasurer Kelly Geater and her staff were surprised when a personalized plate ordered by a Benton County resident arrived in the new style. The personalized plate indicates it will go on a 1967 Olds 442. The staff still has not received the standard numbered/lettered plates, says Geater. See an earlier story about the plates HERE.
