1st Annual BC Speedway Car Show lets fans see cars, drivers who will race here

The old No. 55 with Leon's Malt Shop as sponsor joins other cars on 1st Ave. near Ron-Da-Voo.

Spectators saw dozens of cars that will race each Sunday night in Vinton.

Local racing fans had a good look at several cars during Sunday's event, sponsored by Ron-Da-Voo.

Clean and quiet, race cars filled First Ave; soon they will spread noise and dust at BC SPeedway.

Many cars feature personal messages in honor of loved ones, such as this memorial.

Over 20 cars lined up on display, with awards given in the IMCA Modified, IMCA Stock Car, IMCA SportMod, IMCA Hobby Stock and IMCA Sport Compact classes. Drivers and fans continued to the fairgrounds for open practice after the show, preparing for opening night at the Benton County Speedway on Sunday, April 4th, for the 2010 Frostbuster.
