2010 VSHS Homecoming King Alex McGee and Codi Snider were crowned Thursday evening.

Vinton-Shellsburg High School students have elected Codi Snider to be their Homecoming Queen and Alex McGee as their king.

The two were crowned during a pep assembly Thursday night in the high school gym. The event was moved inside because of the rain.

The coronation followed the Homecoming Parade, which for the first time was held on Thursday evening, instead of previous Friday afternoon. Because of the rain, the Powder Puff footbal game will take place at 3:30 p.m. Friday on the practice field.
