Llamas Win Top Honors in State Fair Show
Valley View Acres of Ellsworth, Minn. captured Best of Show honors in the 2010 Iowa State Fair Llama show, held August 21. The llama was selected from all Grand Champions in the Light Wool, Medium Wool, Heavy Wool and Non Breeders divisions.

Eagle Grove Farm Wins at Iowa State Fair Lowline Show
DES MOINES, IA (09/14/2010)(readMedia)-- Gatewood Farms of Eagle Grove exhibited the Grand Champion Fullblood Bull at the Lowline Show August 19, at the 2010 Iowa State Fair.
Effertz EZ Ranch and Ciolek Family Cold Spring Farm of Bismark, N.D. captured the Grand Champion Fullblood Heifer banner.
Effertz EZ Ranch, Jamie and Wendy McDonald, Heaven Sent Farm and Ciolek Family Cold Spring Farm of Bismark, N.D. took Reserve Grand Champion Fullblood Bull honors. B & B Lowlines of Morgantown, Pa. earned the Reserve Grand Champion Fullblood Heifer banner.
Spring Creek Farm of Hampton exhibited the Iowa Champion Bull and Iowa Champion Female.

St. Olaf Farm Dominates Milking Shorthorn Show at Iowa State Fair
DES MOINES, IA (09/14/2010)(readMedia)-- Lands-Brook Farms of St. Olaf swept the Milking Shorthorn dairy show August 13, at the 2010 Iowa State Fair collecting honors for Grand Champion Female as well as the Premier Exhibitor and Premier Breeder honors.
Justamere Farm of Wayland showed the Reserve Grand Champion Female and took second place in the Premier Breeder division.
Byers Dairy Farm of Milo took second place in the Premier Exhibitor division.
The Premier Breeder Award is given to the competitor that earns the most points for animals bred and exhibited by the entrant or others during the day's show. The Premier Exhibitor Award is given to the exhibitor who accumulates the most points based upon the day's placings.

Top Honors Awarded at Iowa State Fair Jackpot Lamb Show
DES MOINES, IA (09/14/2010)(readMedia)-- Hunter Gerths of Albia won the Grand Champion banner in the Jackpot Lamb show August 22, at the 2010 Iowa State Fair.
The Reserve Grand Champion Lamb was exhibited by Danielle Holmes of Luverne.
