News : Work continues on FSB expansion

Steve Spencer paints the top of the east wall of Farmers Bank.

Construction crews have begun working on the Farmers Savings Bank & Trust-Vinton expansion. Many local contractors are involved in the process. The painter is Steve Spencer of Vinton, who spent time this week with some of his employees repainting the top of the east wall, where the Farmers Bank lettering is. The expansion, however, only affects the west side of the building. The west entrance is temporarily closed during the construction process.
