News : Farmers Bank work begins

Crews have begun removing the Farmers Bank sign letters as addition begins.

Construction crews began this week on the expansion and remodeling project at Farmers Savings Bank & Trust-Vinton.

The first step is to remove the west wall. The letters forming the bank's name are being removed, leaving an outline on the white paint at the top of the wall.

After the work is finished, the expanded building will retain the same exterior appearance.
