A Newhall woman has reported being robbed by two suspects with guns while at an ATM at the Collins Community Credit Union office in Cedar Rapids on Thanksgiving night.

"There was a police report filed for a robbery that occurred at 1st Avenue and 18th Street NE at the Collins Community Credit Union," said Cedar Rapids Public Safety Communicatons Coordinator Greg Beulow.

According to the report, Mae Kaestner, age 84, of Newhall, was identified as the victim. She was robbed by a black male and black female. Both suspects displayed a gun. Her billfold was recovered later, without the cash. The incident took place around 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 27 - Thanksgiving. The robbery was one of three reported to C.R. police on Thanksgiving, along with five burglaries.

The Cedar Rapids Police Department is continuing to investigate. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Linn County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-CS-CRIME.
