The Benton County Volunteer Program visited the Vinton Family Medical Clinic to donate nearly two dozen specially made pillows for breast cancer survivors.

Charmaine Wickwire, executive director of the Benton County Volunteer Program met with clinic director, Melissa Macku to give the “cancer comfort pillows.” The pillows are beneficial and comforting to cancer patients after surgery, but also helps the 20+ volunteers who give their time to help make them, and “it’s healing for everybody,” said Wickwire.

The pillows are donated to local area healthcare centers and to cancer survivor groups.
