"Lots of fun, lots of people scared."

That's how Benton County Conservation Director Matt Purdy described the Haunted Trail at Rodgers part last weekend.

This week a similar event takes place at Wildcat Bluff.

The 3rd Wildcat Bluff Recreation Area Haunted Hayrack ride will take place on October 18th and 19th. Cost is $4 for children 12 and under and $8 for adults. It will run from 7-11 PM both nights. Proceeds raised from this event will help complete the new pavilion at that park. A parking area for participants will be set up inside the entrance to the park, located between Shellsburg and Urbana on 32nd Avenue, just north of the Cedar River bridge.
