The 'Train Wreck' display is returning to Boomtown Saturday evening.

The 'Train Wreck' tribute in fireworks will return to Boomtown this Saturday evening at the Benton County Fairgrounds grandstand.

The fiery display is a tribute to "Head-On" Joe Connolly, who in his lifetime wrecked 146 trains for audiences of tens of thousands at the Iowa State Fair and other events in the late 1800s and early 1900s.
