Vinton Strong: VSHS students thank firefighters, first responders

The Vinton-Shellsburg High School Student Senate welcomed several fire departments, the Vinton Police Department, Benton County Sheriff's Office and North Benton Ambulance to the school on Tuesday to thank them for their service to the school and the community, and particularly for the long response to last month's downtown fire.

This last week we've been experiencing some technical problems with the website. We are aware of them, but we also wanted to tell you that if you see a site that is NOT Vinton Today, DON'T go there! So far it seems that most of the problems have been on mobile devices, tablets and phones, so if you have a desktop or laptop, those seem to work when the others don't.
